By using Dalia ("the app," "we," or "us"), you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We may update this policy at any time, and your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
1 Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
- Account details: if you choose to sign in, you provide your email address for authentication purposes. Authentication is handled by a trusted third-party identity provider — we do not store your credentials on our own servers.
- Together identity: the display name and emoji you set to appear in group sessions. This is shared only with nearby devices during a Together session.
- Manifestations: the intention text you write and transmit. This data is stored securely on our servers.
- Visual board: photos, emojis, and text you add to your board. This content is stored securely on our servers.
- Support communications: any messages you send us may be used to respond to your queries or improve our services.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: basic information about how you interact with the app, such as feature usage and session duration.
- Device information: device type and operating system version, used to ensure app functionality.
- Crash reports: anonymous error data collected to improve app stability.
- Purchase history: processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store payment card details.
2 How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the app and its features.
- To manage your account and process in-app purchases.
- To send daily reminders and important app updates, only if you have granted notification permission.
- For security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- For internal analytics and system maintenance.
3 Sharing Your Information
- Service providers: we may share your data with trusted third parties who assist in authentication, payment processing, and app infrastructure. These parties may only use your data as necessary to provide their services.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, your information may be transferred.
- Legal reasons: we may disclose your information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- Aggregated data: we may share anonymised, aggregated information that cannot be linked to any individual.
We do not sell your personal data. Dalia contains no third-party advertising.
4 Together Mode & Bluetooth
- Together sessions are entirely local and peer-to-peer. No session content is sent to our servers.
- Together mode works only between devices on the same platform: iOS devices can connect with other iOS devices, and Android devices can connect with other Android devices. Cross-platform sessions are not supported.
- Bluetooth is used solely to discover nearby Dalia users and coordinate simultaneous transmission. We do not use Bluetooth to track your location or collect data from other devices.
5 Data Storage & Security
Your manifestations, visual board content (including photos, emojis, and text), and app data are stored securely on our servers. Authentication is handled by a trusted third-party identity provider — we do not store your login credentials on our own servers. We implement industry-standard security measures; however, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
6 In-App Purchases & Tokens
Dalia offers in-app purchases including:
- Premium subscription: Premium subscribers receive 20 manifest tokens and 1 Together token each month, automatically loaded at the start of each billing cycle. Monthly tokens that are not used do not carry over to the next month. Premium also includes access to additional features such as hosting Together sessions, adding photos and emojis to the visual board.
- One-time token packs: additional manifest and Together tokens available for purchase. Tokens purchased as one-time packs never expire and remain in your account until used.
All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. Token balances are associated with your account.
7 Your Rights & Choices
- You may permanently delete your account at any time directly from within the app. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible — all associated data will be removed without the possibility of recovery.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
- You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
- You may uninstall the app at any time to remove locally cached data from your device.
7A Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your Dalia account at any time from within the app:
Profile → Settings → Delete Account
When you delete your account, the following data is immediately and permanently deleted:
- Your profile and identity
- All manifestations and manifestation history
- Your visual board content (photos, emojis, text)
- All unused tokens (both monthly and lifetime)
- Your Together session history
This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered.
Important — Active Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Premium subscription. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it manually to avoid future charges:
- iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Dalia → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dalia → Cancel

8 Children's Privacy
Dalia is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
